Electrical drives play a pivotal role in industrial automation, electric mobility, and emerging applications that demand high-speed, high-efficiency and high-reliability performance. As technological advancements continue to reshape the landscape of electric machines, power electronics, and electrical drives, this conference provides a unique platform for exchanging ideas and promoting new research, knowledge, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

GEMIEC 2025 is sponsored by the IET China and China Industrial Energy Conservation and Cleaner Production Association to bring together frontier researchers, academics, engineers, practioners, industrial leaders and policy-makers to discuss cutting-edge developments, innovative methodologies, and future directions in these critical domains. Scopes are as follows but not limited to:

  • Electrical motors and generators: permanent magnet machines, induction machines, reluctance machines, axial flux motors,novel topologies, machine designs, manufacturing processes, faults and failure, condition Monitoring, and health prediction.
  • Power electronics: power devices, power converter topologies and design, wide bandgap semiconductors, silicon carbide (SiC) and gallium nitride (GaN) power devices; intelligent control and gate drive circuits, thermal management, and reliability.
