The 2025 International Conference for Green Electric Machinery and Industrial Energy Conservation (GEMIEC 2025) was held at Guangxi University, China, on 21-23 November 2025. Brief Description:
Permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) have been widely used in electric vehicles, aerospace and other electrified transportation due to their high efficiency and power density, high torque density, and robust structure. In the case, coupled field analysis involving multiple physical fields is of great significance in order to tackle issues such as torque fluctuations, temperature rise, and intense vibration and noise. This Special Session presents multi-physics simulation, topology optimization and advanced control methods for EV motors. Areas of interest include topological optimization, electromagnetic field analysis, thermal management and NVH analysis as well as model predictive control, sliding mode control, active disturbance rejection control for EV motor drives.
