Registration Instructions

At least one author will register for each accepted paper and present the paper at the conference; otherwise, the paper will not be published in the conference proceedings. (Co-authors and accompanying persons can register as Listeners)   

The registration will be confirmed after the registration fee is received in full and the registration form is submitted to the conference email (gemiec@outlook.com).

Authors can attach a plagiarism report (by iThenticate) when submitting a paper to the conference. The paper will go through plagiarism detection throughout the publication process. If plagiarism is detected, the paper will be rejected with no refund.

For an on-site conference, participants should confirm the form, date, venue, and transportation information with the conference organizer before making a travel plan. The organizer will assist with room bookings. Please make advance reservation if on-site attendance is confirmed.

Guidelines to Select the Registration Category

If you are an oral presenter and need to publish your paper, you should register as "Manuscript Registration".

If you do not publish your paper, you should register as "Abstract Registration".

If you are a listener, you should register as "Listener".

Student registers should provide their scanned  student ID.

If the paper exceeds 6 pages, extra page/pages will be charged.

Registration Fees Cover: 

1. Manuscript Registration: publication and presentation of one paper

2. Abstract Registration: Presentation of one paper

3. Access to all technical sessions

4. Coffee breaks, lunches, dinners during the conference days

5. Conference kits such as conference program, certificates, conference souvenirs and etc.

Notes

Accepted and registered papers will be published in the digital conference proceedings. 

For "No shows", the registration fee is nonrefundable.

Cancellation Policy

If a registrant is unable to attend the conference, they may substitute, by arrangement with the conference organizer, someone else to attend the conference, or transfer their participation to another conference in the conference portfolio. If the aforementioned solutions are not applicable to the registrant, the following policies of cancellation and refund apply.

Up to 30 days prior to the conference date: 70% refund of the paid registration fees

Less than30 days, but more than 10 days prior to the conference date: 60% refund of the paid registration fees

Less than 10 days, but more than 3 days prior to the conference date: 50% refund of the paid registration fees

Less than 3 days prior to the conference date: no refund

Disclaimers 

The conference organizer reserves the right to change the dates, place and format and shall be relieved of any refund or compensation obligations where the performance of the conference is prevented or affected by reason of circumstances which amount to “force majeure”. Such circumstances include but are not limited to natural disasters, riots, terrorist activity, war, epidemic and all similar situations beyond the organizer’s control. 

If the on-site conference cannot take place due to force majeures, participants will be invited to attend the conference virtually or transfer their participation to other on-site conference (within 5 months).

Content will be submitted to the indexing databases for indexing. As indexing services are independent organizations, the conference organizer cannot guarantee that any abstract or index entry will be included in any particular database.

Submission and registration must be managed using the officially authorized channels (online system, email address) published on this website. Regular consultation can be carried out through WeChat (published on the website). Registration process notification will be sent through gemiec@outlook.com. Please do not trust any non-official contacts. If you receive any suspicious call, text message, email or notice any suspicious website, please report to us immediately. The conference organizer accepts no responsibility for any losses caused by unauthorized third party.
